In each order you will receive a mix of adults, larvae, pupa and eggs in your container. Each order is shipped in frass which is a bedding like material. All beetles are shipped priority with USPS and only shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays. By shipping on these days it prevents your beetles from sitting in a substation over the weekend. EUROPEAN MOUNTS
At Skull Creations, we specialize in European Skull Mounts using Dermestid beetles for cleaning. These beetles remove every trace of flesh from the specimen while leaving even the most delicate bones intact. There is no better choice for skull cleaning particularly when the skull is going to be used for trophy scoring. Our method does not degrade bone structure or shrink the size of the skull. Our priority is to maintain the natural integrity of the bone which results in a beautiful skull mount that will last a lifetime. After initially cleaning the specimen, we then finish with an extensive degreasing, whitening and sealing process. Skull Creations only uses high quality materials and chemicals in the whitening process. ARTIFICIAL VELVET SERVICE
Whether you just came back from the hunt or you’ve had your antlers hanging around for years, Skull Creations have perfected our technique for replicating velvet covering for early season antlered mounts. Our method adds the mass of the original velvet covering as well as the fine details of blood vessels and rounded point tips to give a more accurate, lifelike appearance. Our method allows us to create hair patterns and cow licks on the antlers to help establish that natural look rather than the “velour” application of other companies. The beauty of this process is that it’s 100% artificial which means no bugs, completely odor free, extremely durable and is better groomed than preserved velvet.
